During the mediation process, your mediator may offer tools and worksheets to help you make informed decisions for yourself and your family. Financial transparency and disclosure is an important step in the mediation process. You may wish to research values of property, using Zillow, Kelly Blue Book, or obtain a formal property or retirement appraisal. If you need help with preparation, bring your documents and questions to discuss in mediation, or consider using a professional to help (accountant, financial planner, actuary, attorney).
